Mark Bischel is an artist and teacher in New York City.
His work has been recognized in The Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts magazine, Spectrum, and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. Illustration clients include the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, Simon & Schuster, Oxford University Press, NBC, and the Harry S. Truman Library. His work has also been represented in numerous solo and group drawing exhibitions as well as the collections of Harvard Business School and the Artists’ and the Fine Press Book Library of the National Gallery of Art.
He has taught at the Kansas City Art Institute, The Maryland Institute, College of Art, and City College of New York.
He currently teaches drawing at School of Visual Arts.
